Windows: Desktop Hotspots (for the Windows users)
by: cyben - 2004-05-04 21:43:01
First of all, what is a hotspot? A hotspot is just a place where if you click, something happens. The idea behind this is you click on a particular part of your wallpaper and something opens. This is, of course, without using HTML or Active Desktop. This can be done with shortcuts or any other object that has its own icon, and it doesn't just call from something like c:\windows\system\shell32.dll (although those can be changed if you're willing to make the change global).
