We have just joined up with the WeChall network, which allows users to appear on a global high score table for all participating challenge sites.

Not the worlds greatest logo, but possibly the best global challenge hall of fame.

Taken from the wechall site...

For the people not familiar with challenge sites, a challenge site is mainly a site focussed on offering computer-related problems. Users can register at such a site and start solving challenges. There exist lots of different challenge types. The most common ones are the following: Cryptographic, Crackit, Steganography, Programming, Logic and Math/Science. The difficulty of these challenges vary as well.

...

A user on this site can indicate which challenge sites he plays at with a specific username. Challenge sites can be selected from a simple drop-down list. His profile page will then contain an entry for this specific challenge site with the given username, along with some text describing how high he is ranked at that site. This will give a complete overview of one user in an instance.

For now, people will have to sign up at the wechall site pick the osix site in their profile, and the scores will get automatically updated from there.

"Not the worlds greatest logo" you say bb? that logo is so bad it's offensive.

But the website itself is quite good... I'll spend some time there.
A good thing also is that we may get some new users from there.

What do you mean by that MaxMouse? I cracked two bonuses recently, and done 20+ on Project Euler. So I do code... at least as much as security dude can do without IDE, proper PC, limited Internet connection and under the thread of being fired for doing that :)

codepad.org is handy although it doesn't do JAVA, it can do some of the bonuses + a fair bit of project euler, would be good if wechall covered PE too

If you want use Java without installing anything I would recommend jgrasp + ripped off jdk (just copy it from you own PC to a new one). jgrasp writes only few files to you profile which are easy to delete. OK it isn't as good as NetBeans or Eclipse but is better than Notepad (believe me I've done it).

Hey CodeX I asked the question on Project Euler forum regarding WeChall integration and the answer is:
"Although there is a mild competition on Project Euler we think that the main purpose of Project Euler is more educational than to offer a contest site.
Thanks for the offer."

So that's big NO
